Notebook Avenue provides a limited warranty to the first purchaser of the product(s) it sells and agrees that it will, at its option, either repair the defect or replace the defective product or part thereof at no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor as set forth below. 


All sales are final. Returns may be permitted at our discretion only with a 15% restocking fee.

NEW notebooks generally carry original manufacturer's warranty and only that warranty is applicable to those products. Warranty issues on new products should only be directed to the original manufacturer of the product. We are not responsible for any delays in warranty handling by the manufacturer or    the way manufacturer handles their warranty repair.

Some refurbished and used computers have warranty by original manufacturer. If any warranty by manufacturer covers the product from the date of purchase, warranty issues must be handled with the manufacturer.

The warranty covers only malfunctions or defects occurred during normal use of products. Wear and tear of use defects occurred under extraordinary conditions or climate are not covered by this warranty.

This written warranty is final and cannot be altered or modified.


Your warranty does not cover:

Product repair and/or part replacement because of misuse, accidents, abuse, electrical power surges, unauthorized repair, damage due to a cause not within the control of NOTEBOOK AVENUE., for example damage occurred during shipping the product back to us for repair/warranty service.

The warranty does not cover the software support, including but not limited to, operating system or any other software installed or any hard ware added to a computer after the system is shipped by us.

Problems caused by high static or other environmental conditions where the computer has been placed or used.

Any breakage on screen is not covered.

Any alterations or additions done to the computer.

Any modifications or adaptation to the computer to enable its operation in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of product damaged by these modifications.

Any non-compatibility problems with other hardware or software.

We may sell some products "As is". The products sold "As is" do not carry any warranty.

Batteries which come with the used/refurbished notebook computers or refurbished portable printers are used so the battery performance may vary. We do not give any guarantees on how long a computer will operate on a used battery and do not warranty the battery.

All parts, covered under this warranty, including repaired and replaced parts, are covered only for the original warranty period. When the warranty on the product expires, the warranty on all replaced and repaired parts also expires.

We do not provide technical support for any software issue.. Customer has to call the software vendor for support.

We do not provide support/repairs for virus issues. 


How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service you must have a proof of purchase. Please have your invoice ready for us to help us provide faster service.

The most convenient way of requesting service is click the Customer Support link on this page to report the problem. Upon receipt of this information our technical staff will look at the issue and contact you within 24 hours of receipt to determine the best way to take care of your issue.

You can also call our Customer Service Line @ (714) 584-2200. Our expert customer service staff will try to solve your problem over the phone and if the need of repair service is determined, the customer will be given a RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization #) to bring or send the defective product back to us.


Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) Policy

No package will be accepted without a valid RMA #  marked clearly outside the package.

All defective products need to be properly packed in original packaging. We are not responsible for any shipping damages.

RMA #s are valid for only 10 working days.

All repairs are done in shortest possible time and on first come first served basis. Generally it takes five to ten working days in order to complete repairs and to perform all testing after we receive a computer. In some cases it may take little longer if there is a problem of obtaining certain parts.

Warranty starts from the date of original invoice not RMA date.

Proof of purchase necessary for any warranty repairs.

All warranties will be void if it is found on inspection that product has been abused or altered.

If you have any data on your hard drive, please make a back up copy before shipping back for repair. We do not take any responsibility for data loss.

There will be a $45.00 bench test fee if there is no problem found with the hardware provided by us.

All RMAs are shipped back GROUND only at our expense within United States only. Upgrades are up to the customer's expense upon request.

We do not ship back RMAs at our cost outside the United States. International customers are responsible for paying freight and insurance or any applicable duties for shipping completed repairs back to them.

No cross shipping of RMA. Defective items must be received first.

No returns or exchange on special order items.

Any credits will be given for merchandise only. Shipping is non-refundable.

The orders of items which are "Special Order" cannot be canceled.
